Richard Bach owned one of the worlds first privately owned BD-5J micro-jets. This model of small jet was later made world famous when used in the James Bond movie “Octopussy” with a scene of the aircraft flying through a hangar. More information about this remarkable aircraft can be found on Wikipedia here.
During his ownership of his own BD-5J aircraft, Richard Bach attended many airshows around the USA where he flew a basic “air show routine” in the aircraft for the crowds. After his flight routine he was always asked the same questions again and again about his aircraft, which prompted him to create these information sheets, answering most of the typical questions that he was asked.
